CM Punk vs Chris Brown Twitter War thoughts
This kinda makes me wonder, we all know Chris Brown has the most marred reputation for any music artist in the entertainment industry at the moment. I am not in any way shape or form condoning his behavior. Chris Brown added insult to injury when he attacked CM Punk by stating that he abuses steroids. In my opinion, I think this was a PR move done by WWE to get a huge reaction after this twitter war went down to get regular people (people who dont necessarily watch WWE) to tune in and see what’s going on during Raw and increase the ratings leading up to WM28. We all know WWE is doing their best to promote EVERY wrestlers Twitter pages, so it makes you think that this was actually done intentionally.
Side note: Really think about what I’m saying, Chris Brown has over 8 million followers and CM Punk has less than 1 million. Why would Chris Brown even reply to him in the first place? Nobody knows CM Punk outside of the wrestling community. I genuinely think WWE paid of Chris Brown and his team to go along with this to promote their company since we all know Chris Brown is always in the center of confrontation as of late. Thoughts?
I’ve always looked at this as CM Punk being a normal, decent human being and being disgusted with the stories passed around the internet after Chris Brown winning at the Grammys. The tweets of young girls who said that Brown can beat them up anytime because he’s hot. The US Weekly story of Brown’s using “I promise I won’t beat you” as a pickup line. The overall smugness from Brown when he tweeted everyone to “FUCKOFF” because he has a Grammy now.
I saw this as CM Punk using his platform as the WWE Champion to call Chris Brown out on his bullshit. No WWE pay-off. No Wrestlemania promotion. No major work or conspiracy involved here.
