Zoom Some Notes On PWG’s “The Perils of Rock N’ Roll Decadence” I don’t like this Peter Avalon. Wait, so there’s a Brian Taylor and a Ryan Taylor? Who thought this was a good idea? This Willie Mack match will never end. I like Johnny Goodtime. Besides similar video game gimmicks, the RockNES Monsters and Super Smash Bros have similar styles. They put on a great match. I like that they serve beer in pitchers. Davey Richards is making fun of of TJ Perkins two-tone and skull-embroidered tights. Not the best ring gear, but I think they look nice. What is it with PWG commentary talking about stuff like their favorite 80s songs during a match? Romero did Alex Kozlov’s kicks and they pointed out that Kozlov was in the crowd tonight but didn’t show him. Has Kozlov ever competed in PWG? PWG has a lot of the fight spirit move, no sell, move, no sell, move spots. And the crowd eats it up. El Generico is really over with PWG. I’m glad. According the announcer, both Booker T and Karl Anderson are dead. Does PWG live in its own universe? Is it like Elsewords? On a personal level, I think the Young Bucks should have apologized for not shaking the hands of Booker and RVD but on a professional level, they’re doing amazing work parlaying their faux pas into heel heat. From not shaking hands to doing the spinaroonie, they’re getting great reactions. Joey Ryan is awesome and has now dropped the moustache for an equally awesome playoff beard. “KILL, STEEN, KILL!” chants. If your world champion has to vacate the title because he booked himself overseas, you probably shouldn’t invite him back again. Or at least come up with some kayfabe excuse as to why the title was vacated. Kevin Steen is FAT. Steen vs Generico will be (was?) great but it seems like they’re piggybacking on a feud from another company. Although some would argue it’s “capitalizing”.
