Rachel Summerlyn - Anarchy Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Champion [11/11/2012]

Went out last night and caught some wrestling downtown here in Austin. Everyone had a good time, new champions were crowned, Jerry Lynn celebrated his last match in Texas by being completely covered in streamers; needless to say, all updates will be later than usual today once I return home from work and sort out my mess of a drafts folder.

Kristen Kurtis, the music director of Austin’s KGSR, sent me this photo of a promotional item sent out along with Fozzy’s new single, “Sandpaper”. As you can see, it’s a sheet of sandpaper with a F spraypainted onto it.

Chris Jericho, you’re a fucking genius.

Ok, ok — it’s not the BEST photo since it was taken from my terrible LG Optimus phone in the rain, BUT you can still kinda make out who each fuzzy blob is.

Out of the eight of us that attended, there was ONE person who had a real camera that took photos, so I’ll be posted those as soon as they’re available. Until then, you’re stuck with this (or until the official photos are uploaded to the ACW website).

Why didn’t anybody tell me that ACW’s Submission Squad would be taking on The Spectral Envoy at King of Trios??

Completely agree — always fun to see these two at ACW events.

I find it amusing that both my friend Dave and I posted similar shots when we were at ACW Wrestling last Sunday. His picture of the Lone Star beer is clearer, but my Stoney’s was free — so, who’s the real winner here?
