It looks like Mephisto has gone through a gimmick change in the last month down in CMLL. He’s dropped the spiked demon mask in favor of a more topical Batman-related attire. This is actually pretty cool. I don’t know how long he can last before getting sued by DC and WB (not that Mexico cares), but if he can hold onto this gimmick and adopt a backbreaker as a finisher, I can see this being pretty awesome.

Kofi Kingston Has Interesting Ring Gear

I was watching Survivor Series 2011 the other night when my roommate pointed out the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man on his kneepads. Fitting, seeing as how they were at Madison Square Garden. This led me to a search for other interesting tights and it turns out Kofi has been doing this sort of thing for some time now. My favorite has to be the Skeletor tights.

Batman is in one of the most lethal maneuvers in all of wrestling. Luckily he has the fortitude, the strength of will, the desire, to be the best in the world. It is his destiny to overcome all odds. The Dark Knight does not quit. The Dark Knight Rises. The Dark Knight oozes machismo. This was fun to draw. In my head though, I’m reading all of this in a hardcore Alberto Del Rio accent.
