I cannot remember exactly how this pairing came to be, but there was a time where Ric Flair and referee Charles Robinson were (kayfabe) running WCW. Eventually, the Presidency of WCW would be wrestled away (literally) from Flair by the man called Sting, but that’s a whole other mess. This write-up should only be focusing on one thing only — the time where Charles Robinson lived out his life-long dream by becoming Ric Flair.
WCW had Charles Robinson strut down to the ring to face “Macho Man” Randy Savage’s girlfriend at the time/valet, Gorgeous George. I don’t recall much about the match except for the fact that Robinson had the name “Little Nature Boy” sequined on the back of his black robe.
