Does Lance Steel Have Anything To Do With Archibald Peck Traveling Through Time?
An interesting piece of information is this one. At a recent Chikara event, Eddie Kingston retained the Chikara Grand Championship when he gave Archibald Peck the Backfist to the Future, a movie Archibald has taken in the past that he claims sent him into the future. After taking this backfist, the lights dimmed in the arena and Archibald appeared in the balcony, claiming to have time traveled once again.
What’s just as interesting is the presence of the Condor Security person of interest The Swamp Monster watching the match from the balcony along with Lance Steel, a former chikara wrestler who is a time traveler from the future who once teamed up with another version of himself from a seperate time period as the great tag team Lancelot. After losing to himself, Lance Steel was banished to the future, but is he back for good? Does he have anything to do with Chikara Grand Champion Eddie Kingston and his all powerful Backfist to the Future? And what exactly is the Swamp Monster’s involvement in this whole matter?
Pictures thanks to ewzzy, who had this to add:
Note that Lance Steel is holding a banana while The Swamp Monster appears to taking photos with a cell phone. A (the) banana is the top price in Wrestling is Fun where both of these men have been seen recently, but neither is the Possessor of the Potassium.
Match Of The Day:
The Colony vs. The Young Bucks
CHIKARA High Noon
November 13th, 2011
It’s taken me a lot longer than I would’ve liked to come around to the Young Bucks (stop yelling already, I know I’m slow). The High Noon iPPV was, and still is, one of my all-time favorites, and this match is a very good example of why I’m fond of it.
A summary of yesterday, presented in no order.
Tag World Grand Prix 2013 is definitely one for the history books. I won’t get too spoilery for those who missed the online results, but I will tell you that you’re going to want these shows on DVD as soon as Smart Mark puts them out.
Trust me. Would I lie?

Something to look forward to on March 18th!
5/10/2013: I always look forward to CHIKARA’s visits to the south. Especially North Carolina and Georgia, two of my favorite wrestling hotbeds! Plus, this weekend was Greek Easter and I was going to spend it with my family and friends.
But there was something ominous afoot.
Right off the bat,…
In case any of you were wondering what went down this past weekend (and why Tim Donst swallowed hair), here’s your answer.
(Warning: Spoilers for the last two CHIKARA shows)
Tim Donst got his stomach pumped to remove some swallowed hair.
Tim Donst then decided to cut a promo from his hospital bed AND grace us with this photo.
Basically what I am telling you is, Tim Donst is one of my favorite wrestlers for these very reasons.
Blurry photo of Phantom Spaceman Ant from the CHIKARA show Saturday night.
This is a terrible picture, and I do apologize, but this new group of ants CHIKARA has added to the roster - the Colony XTREME Force, which is made up of Arctic Rescue Ant, Missile Assault Ant, and this creepster, Orbit Adventure Ant - is either the best thing happening right now, or the absolute most bizarre. Seeing them in action last Saturday, there’s only two things I can confirm right now: All they do is say their own names over and over (which amused me, especially when they get frustrated and are stuck saying their own names through gritted teeth), and this one looks like Phantom Spaceman.
At least, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Always a pleasure to see Tim Donst, ladies and gentlemen.

Match Of The Day:
Colt Cabana & Mixed Martial Archie vs. The Throwbacks
Chikarasaurus Rex: How To Hatch A Dinosaur
June 2nd, 2012
Happy birthday, Colt Cabana! In honor of the fact that you’re another year older but hopefully not more mature, here’s a match from CHIKARA’s Chikarasaurus Rex: How To Hatch a Dinosaur.
Things of note: Sugar Dunkerton on commentary, everything everyone does in this match, and the gimmick change Mixed Martial Archie pulls on us about 14 minutes in. All in all, thoroughly enjoyable (if a bit sad at the end).
