Quesion of the Day — What’s Your Favorite Wrestling Collectible That You Own?
Personally, I love my WCW World Heavyweight Championship replica belt that I keep over my fireplace mantle.

It’s the official one issued in 1999 from World Championship Wrestling, and I’ve always loved that fact. Plus, owning that made it a no brainer last year when it came down to Halloween:

Question of the Day!
What is ONE standout wrestling moment for you? It can be of any era or any organization, I’m just curious as to what people have to say as it’ll be worked into something I’ll post soon.

Personally, my moment is still Rob Van Dam vs John Cena at ECW: One Night Stand (2006). I’ve gone back and visited that PPV so many goddamn times that I could call each and every match without even staring at the screen.
What about you?
Miss you guys.
Match of the Day:
Kurt Angle vs Tazz
WWF Royal Rumble
January 23rd, 2000
This will always be my favorite “surprise” debut due to the frenzied fans in the arena. They knew who was coming out. They were BEGGING for the Human Suplex Machine to come out and lay waste to the then-undefeated Kurt Angle.
Such an awesome moment.
WWE ‘12 CAW of the Week: The Impact Players by NickBreaker! [Xbox 360]

While this tag team didn’t last long in ECW, they still were one of the most memorable, dominating duo in the world of hardcore. Justin Credible and Lance Storm were unstoppable in 1999, and it’s created characters like this that make paying full price for WWE ‘12 worth it to me. I mean, where else could you turn to in order to see if the Road Warriors or Demolition could withstand a kendo stick to the skull?
I just need a downloadable Dawn Marie to complete the stable…

Response to the CM Punk Was ECW Post
CM Punk also created Straight Edge. Cult of Personality and This Fire Burns were created for CM Punk. He also discovered pancakes.
He also invented wearing the color black, walking upright, and the concept of getting ink tattoo’d on your body.
ALL HAIL THE MESSIAH, CM PUNK!

The front page of WrestlingObserver/F4Wonline.com for 15 January 2012. The image shows the ring being taken down following the last night of wrestling in the famed “ECW Arena” in Philadelphia. It has gone under many names, but the arena is most famous for housing the original ECW, run by Paul Heyman, in its early stages. Over the last fifteen years it became a hub for independent wrestling on the east coast, playing host to ROH, CZW, Chikara and countless others. The building is under new management, and while remaining open, it will no longer be housing pro wrestling.
