The Rated-R Entourage: Edge, Curt Hawkins, and Zack Ryder [2008]
Just like the one-legged tights, I also seemed to block out in my mind that Zack Ryder was also part of this short-lived group of Edge-Heads. Actually to be perfectly honest, I have zero recollection of this even happening.
I will say Ryder looks better with the short hair.

As memorable as this stable was due to their antics and amazing fire entrance (with an equally-fantastic entrance theme), I’ve always felt like The Brood has been overlooked all these years by the WWE. Edge and Christian ended up becoming huge superstars as characters far removed from their gothic, vampirey days, but they were huge parts of what made the Attitude Era what it was. I’m guessing that the current PG status of the WWE probably keeps video footage and photos of these guys and their regular “blood baths” off of the official website and retrospective clips, but I’ve always felt that they deserve more recognition for their unique gimmicks.
Seriously, having the lights go off and come back up with a wrestler coated in blood from head to toe was pretty damn awesome back in 1998. With Linda McMahon losing her bid for a Senate seat, let’s all cross our fingers and pray to our favorite deity that somebody get’s bloodbath’d on Monday’s show.
