Edge - WWE Magazine [November 2002]
“Will Edge become WWE’s next big movie star? I, the Informer, have heard that negotiations are underway with a major Hollywood Icon regarding a six-figure deal. Will the fans ever forgive this Icon?”
[Drop ToeHold says: What was this based off of, Edge’s appearance in that straight to DVD Highlander film??
Sorry, Edge — no Hollywood for you.]
The Rated-R Entourage: Edge, Curt Hawkins, and Zack Ryder
Just like the one-legged tights, I also seemed to block out in my mind that Zack Ryder was also part of this short-lived group of Edge-Heads. Actually to be perfectly honest, I have zero recollection of this even happening.
I will say Ryder looks better with the short hair.
Yeah — not a fan of these WWE Teddy Bears.
I actually thought for a moment there that the last one was supposed to be Heath Slater! Blew my mind to think that he would have one of these dumb things!
The Brood - Edge, Christian, and Gangrel Promotional Shot -WWF
As memorable as this stable was due to their antics and amazing fire entrance (with an equally-fantastic entrance theme), I’ve always felt like The Brood has been overlooked all these years by the WWE. Edge and Christian ended up becoming huge superstars as characters far removed from their gothic, vampirey days, but they were huge parts of what made the Attitude Era what it was. I’m guessing that the current PG status of the WWE probably keeps video footage and photos of these guys and their regular “blood baths” off of the official website and retrospective clips, but I’ve always felt that they deserve more recognition for their unique gimmicks.
Seriously, having the lights go off and come back up with a wrestler coated in blood from head to toe was pretty damn awesome back in 1998. With Linda McMahon losing her bid for a Senate seat, let’s all cross our fingers and pray to our favorite deity that somebody get’s bloodbath’d on Monday’s show.
Undertaker vs Edge - WWE WrestleMania XXIV [3/30/2008]
The look on the Phenom’s face here is priceless.
I miss this era.
Edge, Asya, and Dale Torborg (WCW’s KISS Demon) and KISS
Speaking of wrestlers and KISS, here’s a photo from last year’s KISS Kruise featuring a WWE Hall of Famer and two former WCW Superstars*!!
*Asya was a member of The Revolution, Torborg “headlined” Superbrawl 2000!
I imagine people saying stuff like : “IHEFJIHVIUHRTUI” and “OMGOMGOMGOMG” and “YOU DONT UNDERSTAND, I CANT” actually DOES understand what you’re going through.
anyway, yeah Edge came back. ~woo
“I think that resonated with me up until… all throughout my career. I think that’s why stars always found their way into my gear.” -Edge
I didn’t know Edge was a big KISS fan.
