Winter - Impact Wrestling [1/12/2012]
Recently listened to Katie Lea/Winter’s appearance on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast and found myself to be completely charmed with the former WWE Diva, former TNA Knockout. I never paid too much attention to Katie Lea’s WWE run but loved hearing her talk about jumping the rail at a Germany WWF show as a teen in order to give Diesel a rose she brought for him.
Also, all I could think about was this amazing shot from an episode of Impact Wrestling while she was telling her story. Gorgeous.
Bloodied Sting - TNA Bound for Glory [10/16/2011]
Taken from the 2011 match between Sting ang Hulk Hogan, this photo is one of my favorites of The Stinger. The man was in full Joker-mode around this time, but the blood pouring down and mixing with the clown-white face paint created such a cool, classic shot.
” Clearly a life of slamming actuators, racing on the moon and paddling invisible boats has made Kenny into the impressive pro wrestler he is today. Which if this is any indication to you young aspiring wrestlers out there if you want to be a champion you better get your booty to Orlando and start competing in Guts stat!”
Weird story — I’m sure that the game is just as amazing as you can expect.
For those of you who are interested, it seems that TNA has a Dixie Carter action figure available exclusively over at their ShopTNA website. Personally, I don’t collect figures but can see that this item would go perfect alongside TNA’s exclusive figure over at Ringside Collectibles, Earl Hebner.
Bully Ray is the New TNA World Heavyweight Champion - TNA LockDown [3/10/2013]
Years ago when Bully Ray was a Dudley Boy and competing exclusively in tag-team matches with his “brother” D-Von, I’m sure no one ever looked at the guy as a future world heavyweight champion. His transformation into a strong solo guy in TNA has been interesting in terms of how successful he has been this late in his career, so kudos to Bully.
And it was such a promising marriage too…
I… I don’t know either, AJ.
Wrestling’s Greatest Lovers: ODB and Eric Young
After teaming up with Eric Young in the Wild Card Tournament, ODB and Eric Young defeated Latin America but then went on to lose to Samoa Joe and Magnus in the following round. After the loss, the two continued to be a pair on television. After defeating Gail Kim and Madison Rayne to become the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Eric Young proposed to ODB, who accepted his proposal. The two were married in April of 2012, and defeated Sarita and Rosita in a steel cage match the following weekend at Lockdown. The two continue to be a couple on television, and are still the current reigning Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
Wait, they still are the Knockout Tag Team Champions?! Waaat!?
