I get the feeling these two may know one another from somewhere else. It’s eerie…
I’m not sure if this was taken before or after the promo I linked last week, but really, I don’t think that matters. Just looking at it tells you everything you need to know.
NXT Live Report - House Show in Orlando, FL [10/24/12]
Live NXT shows (formerly FCW) are the best place for pure wrestling in the WWE. You get to see the best of the WWE developmental and all of the recent indy signings work a variety of styles for a fraction of the cost of a WWE show.
Highlights
- A Bray Wyatt (Husky Harris) promo, who is apparently managing Luke Harper (Brody Lee). Luke then destroyed Memo Montenegro (Alberto Del Rio’s brother).
- The WWE debut of Ben Saccily (PAC). The Man That Gravity Forgot was spectacular, and put on a great show for his first time out. Several wrestlers, including Dean Ambrose and Percy Watson, were watching as well.
- An excellent Kassius Ohno vs. Richie Steamboat match to close the show, beginning with a flurry of hold exchanges, devolving into them chopping the crap out of each other.
At first, I thought that the Kassius Ohno moniker was a kiss of death for Mr. Chris Hero, but the guy has been looking good lately. I’m looking forward to the day this guy is brought onto the main roster.
