+ The Legion of Doom Eliminate The Undertaker - WWF Royal Rumble [1/19/1991]
Fantastic moment in the match where Hawk and Animal push off Undertaker’s attempt at a double-chokeslam only to answer with a double clothesline.  The fans go nuts and before they can settle down, Hawk gets taken out of the ring by a sneak attack from behind by Hercules.

+ The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal - WWF In Your House 14: Revenge of the ‘Taker [4/20/1997]
I think my love for The Road Warriors stems from the fact that they were the two that introduced me to wrestling. The graced the cover of WCW World Championship Wrestling for the NES, and I vividly remember renting the game based entirely on The Road Warriors being on the cover.

+ Hawk and Animal - The Road Warriors [NWA 1988]
This team was one of my favorites before I was even aware of professional wrestling as an actual thing on television! To me, they were the two gruff looking guys on the cover of WCW Wrestling for the NES, and I was immediately drawn to the box in the video rental store.
As a matter of fact, I’m pretty sure that renting that NES game was my first introduction into the world of professional wrestling.

Exif I wonder if the kid that’s being hoisted up by Road Warrior Hawk considers this to be a highlight of his life or if this event is some sort of repressed memory that’ll come out during a late-night therapy session…
