Raw Roulette is an interesting concept. When Raw visits Las Vegas, a roulette wheel will determine a variety of things such as match opponents and stipulations. In the case of this night, it led to a strange bedfellows pairing of Miz and Swagger taking on A-Ry and Mysterio under tornado tag team rules, something you don’t see often in WWE these days.
A great idea that led to one of the best television matches of 2011. This was impressive. Look for the tag team tandem of Jack Swagger’s fireman’s carry turned into a gutbuster with the help of the Miz, made moreso impressive by the sheer height of Swagger.

I never really thought that much about Zack Ryder before hearing his appearance on the Art of Wrestling podcast with Colt Cabana, but since then, I’ve privately started to root for the guy. Zack Ryder vs The Miz - WWE RAW [4/2/2012]
I never really thought that much about Zack Ryder before hearing his appearance on the Art of Wrestling podcast with Colt Cabana, but since then, I’ve privately started to root for the guy. Ryder seems to be a harmless goofball that might not ever become a main event player, but any guy admits to being obsessed with collecting old WWF figures is alright in my book.
This is one of those stories floating around on the newz sites today, but this one is kinda interesting as it was caught on camera by a fan attending Saturday’s WWE RAW Live Show:
“Correspondents at Saturday’s WWE Raw live event in Springfield, Missouri sent word that CM Punk was shaken up during his match against The Miz. Apparently The Miz botched a stalling suplex on Punk, causing him to land awkwardly on his head. Officials checked Punk for several minutes but eventually Punk went on to continue the match.”
“It’s not believed that Punk suffered a concussion, but it was a nasty bump that could have aggravated some other issues Punk has been dealing with. He’s expected to work tonight’s RAW and for those wondering, there does not appear to be any heat on The Miz following the incident.”

Brandon Stroud Goes to SummerSlam
Maybe you all figured this out two WrestlesMania ago, but it was a total ‘Secrets Of Magic Revealed’ moment for me. I assumed WWE used TECHNOLOGY~ to make Miz’s AWESOME balloon word split in half and come back together during his entrance, but nope, they used the Greendale Human Being: a team of guys in white morphsuits and headsets sneak out when you aren’t looking, blow up the balloons, hide behind them and manipulate them as necessary. When Miz is in the ring drawing your attention, the lights dim and they deflate and bail.
How great is that? I felt like I was discovering the secret of the Grail. Like maybe all this time Alex Riley has been an elaborate balloon moved around by guys in Team Rocket Invisible Suits. I’ve still got the suit from my Human Being Halloween costume last October, maybe I’ll break it out again this year and be a Miz Balloon Guy.
