WWE RAW “Old School” Night [11/15/2010]

How the hell did I miss out on this the first time it aired? Not only was the entire arena and wrestling ring set up to resemble an old episode of WWF Monday Night RAW but even some of the guys that’ve been around for a while donned some of their older attire for the evening.

Never knew it existed till right now, I think I’ve got a torrent to hunt down.

That look on Justin’s face right before colliding with the ring is way too casual. You’d think he’d be a bit more worried about eating the mat.

I did enjoy the “BRING BACK NEXUS” chants that occurred during the match, though.

I’ve always enjoying seeing Barrett in the ring due to how great he looks. His size, his build, his crooked nose; he just fits the part as a brawler perfectly.

I’ve never seen an up-close photo of Wade Barrett’s right arm tattoo, so imagine my surprise when I realize that his design is actually lyrics from the Manic Street Preacher’s song, “Little Baby Nothing”. Weird!

There are some interesting things happening over at Wade Barrett’s Twitter page.

An arm injury put the WWE Superstar on the shelf for a bit, causing him to take a Twitter sabbatical during his recovery time. However, Barrett (or someone representing Barrett), posted today that his Twitter page will no longer be run by the wrestler. Could this and the release of Andy Leavine be related? Is this the beginning of the annual WWE Post-Wrestlemania CutFest??

I hope not. I’d hate to see the guy go.
